The NKJV, as I said, to my knowledge, uses the same texts as the old KJV instead of modern critical texts which use much older manuscripts. The second criticism, I will admit, is a bit subjective and has to do with readability. I do not wish to do a verse-by-verse comparison. I have the habbit now of looking at just a few verses before i read a translation further. one is acts 2:38. if this verse substitus "turn from your sins" instead of "repent",i disgard the translation as a whole because they have distorted a clear grace teaching. both good news and the living translation do this.garynoreply@blogger.com
