It will take some time, but I think it's a worthy request and one worth doing.Canadian Atheisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00641777092783262463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19769805.post-38138150702455971822012-01-26T06:54:57.830-06:002012-01-26T06:54:57.830-06:00Needless to say, I disagree with large parts of yo...Needless to say, I disagree with large parts of your post but found it interesting anyways. I particularly liked your Pie story. It reminds me of someone I met from the US who had come up here to visit. I asked him how he liked Canada and he said he loved it. We got to talking and he said he thought many Canadians were funny because they either thanked or said sorry for no particular reason. He said we're the only bunch who would get slapped in the face and say sorry. LOL.

Anyhow, thanks for the read, Bill.Canadian Atheisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00641777092783262463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19769805.post-10890930496647603722012-01-25T22:43:24.705-06:002012-01-25T22:43:24.705-06:00Can never get away from the grace of God but defin...Can never get away from the grace of God but definitions are hard to come by. We seem to be back in grace 1 again. When we bring up Romans(a road as I understand it) we often start defending a teaching without going back to the start of the road. I think is the problem today. For example, in my opinion, the major problem today is apostasy, so the meat of Romans 1:1-3 is ignored. Gods’ reaction to sinners is not discussed, and the good news is just 'ho-hum' news. The fact that the creator (God’s unique Son) would become a man and die on a cross is foolishness to two classes of people. But grace in Romans is seen from faith to faith. Humanism as other ‘ism’s always go against grace or god’s promises(thus His character as He discloses himself to His creation through His word ), and thus stand as judge over truth.saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ(the true jesus).garynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19769805.post-57766626469354546872012-01-25T16:49:11.260-06:002012-01-25T16:49:11.260-06:00Amen, Pastor Bob.Amen, Pastor Bob.Bill Ballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13573859102823530876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19769805.post-39698036601205603442012-01-25T16:38:48.971-06:002012-01-25T16:38:48.971-06:00Salvation is something I did not deserve; I could ...Salvation is something I did not deserve; I could never achieve this on my own merit. But Grace does much for and with me and also in me. Before God I am Justified, I am privileged to now be His child, and I am a changed person because Jesus lives in me. I am not the one I used to be, I have a new language to speak, oh there is some learning, discipleship, I have a new attitude about myself and a love for God and Man. Sin does not have dominion over me: for I are not under the law, but under grace.
Saved by Grace
BobPastor Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15682545003151985640noreply@blogger.com
