Love is the only way to Peace, begins with love and ends with love. And, anything that involves negativity, is a lower feeling that is not worth even remembering. We don't have to be anything, we don't have to follow anything, if whom YOU are is what makes you a great person, than continue..afterall, at the very end, you will not have anyone but your own self, what you have achieved, what you have learned and how elevated your spirit has become in this lifetime. So, make the best of what you have, what you have is temporary and so live in Peace and promote Peace. thank you for your peaceful blog, and I hope it promotes reflection to all of us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19769805.post-57374101989570560822010-08-03T10:42:32.073-05:002010-08-03T10:42:32.073-05:00The Bible says to speak only what's useful for...The Bible says to speak only what's useful for building others up according to their need. It says to speak the truth in love. Jesus was most direct and confrontational with those who had set themselves up as religious leaders of the people and lived with arrogant, self righteous attitudes than he was with others. Some of the invective and abusive language that you see "Christians" throwing at the world and at each other is very troubling and, to my way of thinking, completely unChristlike. I'm not saying that being "nice" all the time is our ultimate goal, but we seem to live in a Jerry Springer world these days where all that matters to people is that they have their say. Great post.OneBigHappyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07993848597406708478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19769805.post-17805335040364879052010-08-03T00:13:42.877-05:002010-08-03T00:13:42.877-05:00I am an agnostic, because I haven't found the ...I am an agnostic, because I haven't found the "one" way yet. God (and Jesus) would surely agree that I must be sure in my conscience about what I believe before I profess it.
I am still seeking, still searching for my spiritual path. That means I must educate myself spiritually so that I may hopefully in the end choose the right path. Even if I fail, Jesus (and God) will see that I had the best intentions and that my soul was one that thirsted for goodness in an evil world.
I digress - forgive me, I don't really know why I wrote the above, perhaps as a way to introduce myself.
What I wanted to say is that whether I believe Jesus is the son of God or not (in other words whether I am a Christian or not) I truly believe He is one of the wisest men who has ever lived, and because of that His words encompass much more than 'just' Christianity, they encompass the WHOLE WORLD and everything in it. Your blog entry celebrates this. Jesus loved every human being, from the evilest to the purest, from the most irreligious to the most pious: Gays and straights, prostitutes and nuns, he saw us all as brothers and sisters. He is all loving, all tolerant, all-inclusive. Your blog entry exemplifies this beautifully.
If I was was ever to become "religious", I think I would choose Jesus.Serene Selenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03503342988849935945noreply@blogger.com
